In December 2011 the Company was celebrating its 18th year of successful trading. Quality and customer care has always been put as top priority since the Company started trading. We have committed ourselves to continue with improving on the service that we provide by putting in place standards to monitor and measure any errors or complaints.

We strive to continue in providing ongoing training to all our staff, this includes classroom BTEC Level 2, on-site training and NVQ Level 2. Whilst the very nature of our jobs keeps us miles apart we communicate with all our staff through the company’s Newsletter and through the Control Room, which is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

During the current economic climate, like most businesses, Guardforce has been hit by the recession and we re-structured the Company in December 2010. We now have two Offices, our Midlands Office which is based in Wellingborough, Northants and the former Neasden Office, which is now the Company’s Head Office as well as the London & South Operational Centre. Each office has its own Operations Centre Manager, who is responsible for their own area and this includes developing new business, serving their contracts in the relevant geographical area and also ensuring the welfare and performance of their team of Security Officers.

The Company achieved its Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) from the SIA in 2006 and each year since then an audit has been taking place which resulted in improving our standards and best practices. I am pleased to announce that in the recent audit in June 2011 we achieved plus 60 marks which puts us in the league of medium sized guarding companies in the top 25% of the Approved Contractors’ Companies. It is my aim to achieve at least 80 marks in the next audit which should place us in the top 50 UK based companies. I would like to thank everybody for working as a team and putting a lot of effort into achieving this score and I am proud to be part of the team.

Guardforce Security Services maintains an important relationship with our local and business communities. We are members of the Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire Chambers of Commerce and industry and the Bedfordshire Police Partnership Trust.

COMPANY ID CARDS

The Company has recently undergone a change of ID cards to a new type of blue and white card. Every member of staff should now be in possession of their new ID card.
